Coastline is pleased to deliver eight new homes in the village of Constantine through the shared-ownership scheme. Please register your interest on Share to Buy if you would like to apply for one of these homes.

The shared ownership properties are a mix of 2 and 3-bedroom houses, which are anticipated to be occupiable from Spring 2025. To be eligible for one of the homes in Trebarvah Court, you must hold a local connection to the parish of Constantine. For more information please refer to the Eligibility page below.

The plots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to you providing the Sales team with a full and complete application. The final share offered to you will be determined by a financial assessment carried out by an independent financial assessor (The Mortgage People). Located between Falmouth and Helston, Constantine provides good access to local amenities and the village offers several shops, a surgery and a primary school.

The Homes
All homes feature ground source heat pumps and ground-floor underfloor heating, a private garden and two parking spaces. The kitchens are finished with Moores Furniture Group’s Portland range in Haze and the family bathroom features a shower-over-the-bath with floor-to-ceiling tiling. The properties are fitted with vinyl flooring throughout the wet rooms and are carpeted in living spaces. In the rear gardens, you benefit from a shed, two power sockets and an outdoor tap. The homes also benefit from a 999-year lease and an LABC warranty.

As the development is located within a Designated Protected Area (DPA), the freehold will not transfer to you when you acquire 100% equity of the property. Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for a property on this scheme, you are required to evidence that you have a connection to the Parish of Constantine. Coastline will need to be in receipt of the relevant evidence before an offer of a property can be made.

To meet the local connection criteria for this scheme, you will need to meet one of the following:

a) being permanently resident therein for a continuous period of at least three (3) years immediately prior to the date of a Housing Application; or

b) being formerly permanently resident therein for a continuous period of at least five (5) years; or

c) having his or her place of permanent work (normally regarded as 16 hours or more a week and not including seasonal or casual employment) therein for a continuous period of at least three (3) hours immediately prior to the date of a Housing Application; or

d) having a connection through a close family member (normally mother, father, brother, sister, son or daughter) where the family member is currently resident therein and has been so for a continuous period of at least five (5) years immediately prior to the date of a Housing Application and where there Is independent evidence that the family member is in need of or can give support for the foreseeable future or on an ongoing basis

*The local connection criteria does not apply if you are a serving or previously serving member of the regular armed forces or qualifying under any other clause of the Allocation of Housing (qualification criteria for armed forces) (England) regulations 2012.

**As part of your application for a shared ownership home at this development, a local connection is required to be eligible to apply for this scheme. Applications will be invited from those that hold a connection to the Parish of Constantine in the first instance.

***If there is still availability on this scheme, applications will then be invited from applicants that hold a connection to the neighbouring parishes of Gweek, Morgan-in-Meneage, St Martin-in-Meneage, Mawnan, Budock, Mabe, Stithians and Wendron from Thursday 30 January 2025.

****If there is still availability on this scheme two weeks after the initial cascade to the neighbouring parishes, applications will then be invited from applicants that hold a connection at a county level from Thursday 13 February 2025.
